Dance Foundations

This program gets your body moving and your feet making noise! Whether your child chooses to focus solely on ballet or desires to learn hip hop, jazz, tap, musical theater, contemporary  and our combination classes, students will learn repetitive dance movements in center and across the floor. Dance terminology is introduced and explained as students develop an understanding of body and spatial awareness . The  Dance  Foundations offers a different dynamic of teaching beats and rhythms.  Students begin to develop dance technique, coordination, musicality and comprehension of choreography to sharpen their skill sets. 

Introductory Ballet

Welcome to our Introductory Ballet class, designed for young dancers ages 5-7! This foundational program introduces children to the enchanting world of ballet through fun and engaging activities that promote creativity, coordination, and a love for dance.

In this class, students will learn the basic positions of the feet and arms, along with fundamental movements such as pliés, tendus, and skips. Our experienced instructors create a supportive and nurturing environment where children can express themselves and explore movement while developing essential motor skills.

Classes incorporate imaginative exercises that encourage rhythm and musicality, fostering a sense of joy and discovery. Through playful storytelling and movement games, students will not only learn ballet technique but also build confidence and social skills as they make new friends.

Foundational Ballet

Our Foundational Ballet class is perfect for dancers ages 8-10 who have a basic understanding of ballet and are ready to expand their skills. This class builds on introductory principles, focusing on technique, coordination, and musicality. Dancers will deepen their knowledge of ballet terminology and strengthen core movements, developing a solid foundation that prepares them for more advanced ballet work.

In this class, students practice a full range of movements, including pliés, tendus, and jetés, and begin exploring more complex steps such as chassés and échappés. Instruction emphasizes body alignment, balance, and rhythm to enhance each dancer’s grace and fluidity. Our supportive environment allows students to work on technique at their own pace, building confidence and discipline.

Combo

This class is an hour class for 7-8 year old students wanting to get their bodies moving and feet making noise.  Children will learn repetitive dance movements at the barre and away.  Dance terminology will be introduced and explained as students develop an understanding of body and spatial awareness.  Tap, Jazz and Ballet offers a different dynamic teaching beats and rhythm.  Come play and explore with hoops, scarves, ribbons, and more.

Beginner Hip Hop

Get ready to groove and have fun in our Beginner Hip Hop class, where kids ages 5 to 8 can explore the energetic world of hip hop dance! This one-hour class is designed to introduce young dancers to the basics of hip hop in a playful and supportive environment.

In Beginner Hip Hop, students will learn foundational movements and techniques that help them develop rhythm, coordination, and self-expression. Our experienced instructors create an engaging atmosphere that encourages creativity while ensuring everyone feels confident and included.

intermediate Hip Hop

Step up your dance game in our Intermediate Hip Hop class, designed for dancers aged 9 to 11 who are ready to elevate their skills and creativity! This one-hour class focuses on building upon foundational hip hop techniques while introducing more advanced movements and styles in a fun and energetic environment.

In Intermediate Hip Hop, students will dive deeper into the world of hip hop dance, exploring various styles and techniques that promote self-expression and confidence. Our experienced instructors create a supportive atmosphere where students can challenge themselves while fostering a love for dance.

Hip hop Jazz Fusion

Join us for an energetic and dynamic journey into the world of hip hop jazz fusion! This class blends the fluidity and style of jazz with the infectious rhythms and movements of hip hop, creating a unique and exciting dance experience. Designed for dancers ages 8+y. Our classes focus on building coordination, strength, and confidence while exploring the latest trends in urban dance culture. From groovy isolations to high-energy choreography, students will learn to express themselves through movement in a supportive and inclusive environment. Come unleash your inner dancer and groove with us!

Lyrical

This Lyrical class is a one hour class for dancers that want to go beyond their ballet basics to include some elements of modern, jazz, contemporary, and improvisation. They will learn interpretive movement styles and connect musical lyrics with new movement qualities. 

Tap I 

Get ready to make some noise and have fun in our Tap 1 class, specially designed for budding tap dancers ages 6 to 9! This one-hour beginner class introduces students to the exciting world of tap dance, where rhythm and movement come together to create a unique form of expression.

In Tap 1, students will learn the foundational techniques of tap dance, including basic steps and sounds such as shuffles, taps, and flaps. Our experienced instructors create a positive and encouraging environment that fosters creativity, coordination, and confidence in every dancer.

Poms

Get ready to cheer and shine in our Poms class, a fun and energetic introduction to the world of pom-pom dance for kids ages 5 to 8! This one-hour class is designed to teach young dancers the basics of pom dance while encouraging teamwork, rhythm, and self-expression in a lively and supportive environment.

In Poms, students will learn fundamental movements and routines that combine dance and cheerleading techniques, all while having a blast with their peers. Our enthusiastic instructors create an engaging atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and excited to participate.
